Tips

  • Islands of Adventure features special events such as Halloween Horror Nights and Grinchmas throughout the year. Check the monthly calendar at the Universal Orlando website to see what's happening during your visit.
  • The restaurants are well equipped to handle virtually any dietary restrictions. Call Guest Services in advance at (407) 224-6350 if your diet is extremely limited, or simply ask to speak with a chef when you arrive.
  • Some guidebooks recommend returning to your hotel for a midday break. Rather than waste valuable park time, schedule a late lunch at a table service restaurant or nap on a well-manicured lawn. If you need privacy, visit First Aid.
  • Central Florida weather can be unpredictable, and Islands of Adventure is an outdoor park. Check the forecast the morning of your visit and always carry a rain poncho or umbrella.
  • If you plan to visit Universal Studios Orlando on the same day, all rental fees will transfer. This includes wheelchair and ECV rentals as well as lockers. However, you must purchase the two-park Universal Meal Deal if you want to use it at both venues.

"Exciting, a whole new concept"
Around The World Travel Radio

"Even though I am a local, I thoroughly enjoyed visiting and learning more about the history of the landmarks. The author's interest in the area comes through in his engaging style of writing. Being able to complete the tour at my own pace made it even
more enjoyable."
Flora Savitzky (Researcher)

"When the conference ended, I stayed in town on my own and used T4M's self-guided tour to decide which things in town I wanted to visit and what to see/do there. The guide was right every step of the way. Bottom line, this guide helped me make the most of my time in town."
