Tips

  • Sharing meals is a great way for families to economize. Portions are huge throughout the Magic Kingdom restaurants, and even adults with smaller appetites often find that a single appetizer and entrée are plenty for two.
  • This is a great place for increasingly independent kids to spread their wings. Children as young as seven are permitted to ride alone, so if your kids are trustworthy, allow them to sit in their own ride seat or even take a spin without you.
  • Although many guidebooks recommend a midday hotel break, commuting takes a great deal of time. Instead, consider a long, leisurely meal or even a short nap on a well-manicured lawn.
  • Involve everyone in the family while planning your trip. Making age-appropriate decisions such as where to eat lunch or which park to visit on a given day helps everyone feel ownership of the trip. Be sure to coordinate your plans in advance though, to avoid confusion.
  • If your group is large, consider spending part of your time splitting off in various configurations. Allowing the thrill-seekers an afternoon to get their fix while others relax at the hotel or take in gentler rides can keep everyone from getting frustrated.

"Exciting, a whole new concept"
Around The World Travel Radio

"Even though I am a local, I thoroughly enjoyed visiting and learning more about the history of the landmarks. The author's interest in the area comes through in his engaging style of writing. Being able to complete the tour at my own pace made it even
more enjoyable."
Flora Savitzky (Researcher)

"When the conference ended, I stayed in town on my own and used T4M's self-guided tour to decide which things in town I wanted to visit and what to see/do there. The guide was right every step of the way. Bottom line, this guide helped me make the most of my time in town."
