Tips

  • Be sure to keep an eye out for the Rat Lady. A staple of Halloween Horror Nights since its inception, a glass coffin makes multiple trips around the park. Inside lies a young girl covered in living rats.
  • The popular Meal Deal is not available during HHN. However, food can be purchased throughout the park at both counter service and food stall locations.
  • A wide variety of HHN merchandise is offered during the event. The Universal Studios Store near the park gates carries the same items, and stays open well after closing. Wait to shop until the end of the night.
  • In addition to the scheduled shows, HHN often features unadvertised street entertainment. Leave plenty of time in your schedule for these shows, which are generally terrific.
  • After 8 pm, the parking fee is lowered to $3. Locals with season passes to Halloween Horror Nights often wait to arrive after this time, but it is not recommended for visitors. Arrive early in order to fit everything in.

"Exciting, a whole new concept"
Around The World Travel Radio

"Even though I am a local, I thoroughly enjoyed visiting and learning more about the history of the landmarks. The author's interest in the area comes through in his engaging style of writing. Being able to complete the tour at my own pace made it even
more enjoyable."
Flora Savitzky (Researcher)

"When the conference ended, I stayed in town on my own and used T4M's self-guided tour to decide which things in town I wanted to visit and what to see/do there. The guide was right every step of the way. Bottom line, this guide helped me make the most of my time in town."
